What is a one-liner

A one-liner is a single sentence that says what your product is and who it is for, short enough to say out loud. It usually pairs your market category with your best-fit customer, sometimes with the core value. It lives in your messaging document and gets reused on the homepage, decks and bios.

Format

[Product] is the [category] for [best-fit customer]. Add the value only if the sentence stays easy to say.

FAQs

Is a one-liner a tagline?
